Another band bringing the blues to the Bay Area and to such San Francisco venues as the Boom Boom Room, and Lou's Pier 47 is the trio (sometimes augmented with keyboard) One More Mile. Their specialty is West Side Chicago blues, à la Magic Sam, Jimmy Dawkins, Buddy Guy and Freddie King, with some Memphis, some Mississippi, and a bit of funk.

One More Mile features Jersey Jim on bass and vocals, Craig Kloor on guitar, and Lee Thompson -- "drums and mayhem."

They get a little naughty sometimes but hey -- this is San Francisco: the tourists expect it!
