"She's got an intuitive feel for the fire and core of a song, and brings that to the audience with both intense conviction and a steely soulfulness" says Joseph Jordan of Southland Blues Magazine. Having sung in large stage productions from a very young age, Leah is a twenty-year veteran of the stage at the age of 29. From 1994 to 1997, she was a featured soloist in an all-female a cappella group before moving to Paris to work as a blues and R&B vocalist for a popular nightclub. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1998, Leah joined the Glide Memorial Church Ensemble where she solos regularly. |
