Blues and American Roots singer Jan Fanucchi has been singing professionally for more than a quarter of a century, showcasing her influences of blues, R&B, rock-a-billy, swing, and country on a variety of classic and original songs. Nominated, with guitarist Doug Hamblin, for a Blues Artist of the Year Bammy in 1988, the pair toured the U.S. promoting their debut album Doug Hamblin/Jan Fanucchi, and a song from that album was featured in the Franchise Pictures release Angel Eyes starring Jennifer Lopez in 2001.
Jan now has reformed her band with veteran musicians Walter Jebe on guitar, Henry Salvia on keyboards, Paul Revelli on drums, and Burton Winn on bass, playing local clubs on a regular and showcase basis.
Catch her monthly in San Francisco at The Saloon or at Lou's Pier 47 and learn why she is one of the Bay Area's premier vocal stylists.
